Samuel L. "Sammy" Jackson received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Pennsylvania in 2000. His Ph.D. is in linguistics and mathematics from the University of Notre Dame. His thesis, The Misunderstood Implications of "Dog Eat Dog" and Other Specist Comments, won a Distinguished Graduate Thesis Award from the International Linguistic Association. He completed his Juris Doctorate in 2009 from Georgetown University. He specializes in legal representation for oppressed species.

At CARA, Sammy specializes in advanced quantitative data analyses, conflict theory as an epistemological lens to the Church, and belly rubs. Sammy is available for lectures, speaking engagements, long walks on the beach or other places, and as an ever-ready stand-in for Georgetown's Jack the Bulldog.
