Catholic Worship Site Inventory

Motivated by the Church’s realization that migrants have a lifestyle that often causes them to be inadequately catered for by the ordinary pastoral ministries of the parish or be entirely deprived of them (Erga Migrantes Caritas Christi 2004), the USCCB’s Subcommittee on the Pastoral Care of Migrants, Refugees and Travelers (PCMRT) is conducting a national research study. PCMRT's research focuses on supporting ministries to marginalized populations such as victims of human trafficking, unaccompanied minors, migrant farmworkers, long-haul truck drivers, seafarers, aviation communities, ethnic communities, and traveling show people from the circus, carnivals, race tracks, rodeos, and other people on the move. The surveys for U.S. worship sites and Chancellors can be accessed below:

  • Worship sites (i.e., parishes, missions, cathedrals, basilicas, chapels, worship communities, shrines, and campus ministry sites)
