Emma Mitchell

Emma Mitchell is a research assistant at CARA. She oversees some of CARA’s projects on Catholic formation programs, including the Catholic Ministry Formation Directory.

Coming from Milwaukee, WI, she received her B.A. in Religious Studies from Loyola University Chicago, and is now a part-time student at Georgetown University, working towards a Master’s of Public Policy. Before coming to CARA, Emma did a year of service with the Capuchin Franciscan Volunteer Corps, during which she worked at So Others Might Eat (SOME), a local social service center in DC.

Emma’s research interests include the implementation of Catholic ecological teaching, care for the poor, and young adults.
